How often can I receive diapers and supplies?
We distribute diapers and essential supplies once per month to eligible families.
What items are included in distribution?
Each distribution may include:
1) Diapers for children ages 0–3 (based on size and availability)
2) Menstrual products (pads and liners)
3) Wipes
⚠️ Training pants are only included if you attend The Potty Training Academy.
Diapers vs. Potty Training Support
What age group do you supply diapers to ?
We provide diapers for children ages 0–3 years.
Do you provide diapers for children over age 3?
No. Children over age 3 are not eligible for diapers through our diaper distribution program.
Who is eligible to receive training pants?
Training pants are only available to children enrolled in our Potty Training Academy. They are not distributed outside of this program.
What age does potty training support begin?
Potty training support is available for children age 2 and older who are enrolled in the Potty Training Academy.
Eligibility Requirements
Who is eligible to receive services?
We serve low-income families and caregivers, including those who are:
1) Unemployed or underemployed
2) Receiving public assistance such as TANF, SNAP (food stamps), WIC, SSI, or other
benefits
Is there an income limit?
There is no single income cutoff. Eligibility is based on demonstrated financial need, typically verified through public assistance.
Do I need to live in a specific area?
Yes. Families must live within our service area (Essex County Only) to be eligible.
What to Bring on Distribution Day
What documents are required?
You must bring:
1) Birth certificate or official document for the child receiving diapers (Parents name
should appear on documents)
2) Unexpired Photo ID of the parent or legal caregiver
Can I receive diapers without documentation?
No! Documentation is required for all distributions.
Registration & Process
How do I register for diapers or services?
All families must register online through our website only. Walk-ins are not accepted “NO EXCEPTIONS”.
Do I need to register every month?
Yes! Monthly registration is required unless otherwise noted.
What happens after I register?
After registering, you will receive:
1) Confirmation of registration
2) Distribution date, time, and location
3) Instructions on what to bring
4) Please not there will not be an email if you are not eligible read our FAQs
What if I miss my distribution date?
If you miss your scheduled date, you may need to wait until the next month. If you contact us before distribution, we might be able to schedule a pickup.
Menstrual Support
Do you provide menstrual products?
Yes. Eligible adults may receive pads and liners as part of our period support program. Please indicate when you register.

Yes. We are a proud member of the National Diaper Bank Network and the Alliance for Period Supplies which promotes dignity, equity, and best practices in diaper assistance.
Why do you have age limits and program rules?
Age limits and program guidelines help us:
1) Serve families fairly
2) Use donations responsibly
3) developmentally appropriate support
Disruptive and Unruly clients? WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM RECEIVING DONATIONS FROM
MCDBEC and referred elsewhere.
